Genre Type: F2P Socer/Football Manager MMO
Platform Accessibility: Web Browser
Development By: Nexon

United Eleven allows players to stand on the sidelines of a football pitch in the shoes of a club manager as they watched their team that they have personally assembled play against other real-world player teams. This free to play strategy based football/soccer MMO is an exciting game of tactics and team building that can be played in your web browser or on multiple mobile devices with full app support and cross compatibility.

In the game managers are responsible for assembling a superstar squad made from actual officially licensed real-world players from many of the top leagues in Europe. Each player has their own stats, often derived from the performance of their real-world counterpart, and it is the manager’s job to put together a cohesive team that shows a strong unity, a vital component to the game. Where individual players may perform well it is important that they perform well as a team and various elements can improve or lower players assimilation into a new club (such as players being of the same nationality giving a natural boost), which in turn will increase the squad’s overall performance. Managers can determine the players formations and play style before going into a game and changing it up whilst the game happens.

Managers are able to purchase “tactical cards” from the store that can be applied for a one-off bonus in an individual match, e.g. using the ”Make a Mark” card when no goals have been scored in a game the team has a +1 to shooting, which means a team is more likely to score first in a match, or the “No Defeat” card which gives the team a +1 to Finishing if the team is currently losing. There are different cards that do similar things but give higher bonuses and cost more in game currency to purchase.

Players are able to watch the games live, and whilst it does not show actual players running around like a traditional football game it does show the ball being passed around in an overhead view, showing each player as they gain possession of the ball. The camera can switch to a huddle view showing all the players as a shot on goal is made.

Once the game is over players can check out the Match Summary which shows a variety of different stats such as the number of goals scored, shots/shots on target, corner kicks, bookings and more as well as the overall team shot accuracy, completions and possessions for both teams. In Match Analysis managers can check out more details such as the completion of passes and attempts on goal. Players will receive in game GP currency for playing a game, acquiring more if they managed to win.

The available games within United Eleven focus primarily on players being part of the league and playing multiple games every day as players try to finish in the top 100 teams in the game to acquire prizes each week. However, managers don’t only have to play league, they can play against friends in friendly games to try out the squad or even side mission based matches playing against specific teams with various player restrictions.
